INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

My moms boston terrier sleeps with his tongue sticking out, like your french bulldog was in that picture

It annoys me so much lol. I'm constantly grabbing it or pushing it back in! All I can think about are those dogs that have their tongues sticking out the side of their mouths constantly! I do not want that lol.

I am on day two.I am searching the web lol. I dont feel like actually doing anything. Frozen picks stink! Not fun at all. Hope you feel better tomorrow. Maybe the weather people will actually be right and maybe I can get some stuff done. I have a really long mental list of things I need to get done. Now when it comes time to do that stuff I will probably forget half of it. I plan on having a large garden this year, compared to previous years tiny gardens. I want to have lots of fresh veggies for the chickens. I am going to grow all sorts of stuff this year. I plan on trying okra, heard chickens really like it.

I hope you feel better also! I have all sorts of projects too! I am going to be building bee hives, adding 40 feet of flower beds to the back, building deck boxes to line my deck, building treadle feeders to help with the wild bird issues, hauling dirt and planting grass where my plumbing was trenched out to the barn, chicken coop buildout and expanding my garden with a new bed. I wanted to build another raised bed but I'm not sure I have the time with everything else. Anyone have any tips on how to kill the grass where I want my new bed? I don't want to put down chemicals. I do realize I probably should have done it last year, but there was too much going on.

Candled my first set of eggs in the bator. One of the legbars was a blood ring, and one of the Bresse seemed to be clear. All the others showed development or the shells were dark enough I couldn't be sure. So things are progressing well. I candle the next set tomorrow.

Also got the plucker ordered. I go to pick it up Saturday. My hens and pullets are going to be happy, as the number of cockerels will be dropping significantly over the next few weeks. Need to have them all processed by the beginning of March! Might even be warm enough to do it. Maybe removing the worst tormentors will convince a few more of them to start laying.

Thanks! Mine are mostly chicken related lol. I have 5 pens I want to build for breeding. And I dont know what to call them, they are sort of like day pens where I can put extra rooster or chicks growing out during the day,so that they can enjoy the grass. Need to work on runs. My old barn will always need work lol. The garden I want to have. Transporting boxes. A photo box. Maybe a better brooder. I am sure there are more thing I cant remember. Bleach and roundup work great to kill grass.
