INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

What about the bedding that Animallover is using? Maybe she needs more or softer. All of mine look good and I have a good amount of bedding.

i do have 1 question.... I noticed some of mine have lost some butt fuzz and are bare. Is this normal? They are all clean
im useing corn cob bedding its what i started my other chickens on

My first Naked Necks (10 of them) are in route as we speak! I'm very excited as I've read soo many good things about them! I'll post pics and update once they've arrived! Did I say I was excited already! Lol! My plans are to breed with my silkies and frizzle for some fun combos! Requested red, splash, blue and blr! Just keeping my fingers crossed they make it safe thru this darned weather we're having! O yeah but the 50 's coming this weekend! Why does that happen at the wrong time of week! !! Sigh...
congrats! I have 3 hens and they are great. I'd like to add more to my free ranging flock. Where did you get yours from? (If you don't mind me asking). They are my favorite that I own right now.

Just wanted to share a project I'm going to start on. It is going to be a cabinet Incubator. I had this cabinet sitting around for long time and over the years it started falling apart but im going to fix it back up and turn it into a incubator. It seems perfect the door already has a spot for me to put glass in it. It originally had wood slats in door.

I have done some more work to my cabinet incubator. I fixed the door and glue it back together. The pic above the door is just sitting there but its not glued. I replaced the board that was missing and then sanded it all down and re stained it. Then i put a piece of plexi glass in the door for viewing. Here is a few pics. Still have more work to do before its ready to incubate.

Here is my smallest chick from the weekend batch.

A closeup, best I can get without a blur.

Precious little babies

Oh my gosh! How adorable! What kind are they? I tried looking through some recent posts to find out, but it was too time consuming, and it's way past my bedtime. You are so lucky-- they are so sweet.
