INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

. Cluck~ I poked holes in the jar lid and can and wired them together with twist ties. Oh, and poked holes for heat to escape from the can. I've had fun doing this one. :)
 
Here comes round 3 of hatching! Just put the last of my silkie eggs into lockdown (5 of 8 made it to lockdown). It looked like a couple had already internally pipped. Today was day 20 from the first 12 silkie eggs I set. So far one is workin on externally pipping! Hope the others follow soon!
 
Ohh and got the first quail egg from the ones I hatched today. It sure s small! Ill probably crack it open to see if Its fertile. Might get a few eggs to incubate before butchering them!
 
Any ideas jchny2000? Well, maybe you have some pullets, and some could be roosters. I really don't know lol, but hopefully you will get the ones you want! Or are you asking about the kinds of chickens? We are still hoping for 8 laying hens, and no roosters from our 4 straight runs.
