I seem to be on a documentary roll as I'm watching a good day to die about the American Indian movement (AIM) and its founders it is so sad what happened to them especially as children as i couldn't imagine being raised away from my parents

We also have a pantry, and on the island facing the living room, we built a short wall where the sink is located to hide that from the living area.

has anyone seen the documentary the natural history of the chicken on netflix? it's not bad i enjoyed it although the lady swimming with her chicken was crazy lol.

I'm also of the mind that I want larger...much larger than I've ever had! Even just having folks over makes it tight where we are currently. I always feel like I should let someone else do the "entertaining" because they all have more space!

LOL you aren't kidding! We had 13 people crammed into the house sunday for our Thanksgiving. UGH

On other news..my 5 eggs didn't make hatch! I have decided I hate my incubator!

Now my peachick that had a injury a few weeks back is now heading to the vet tomorrow! I feel bad but because of the holidays I hadn't had time to thoroughly look over the flock and it wasn't until Sunday I was shocked to see her come out of the coop looking like she'd lost an eye! ! Fortunately that isn't the case but poor baby! I'm leaning towards a injury or sinus infection! My teenage son informed me he saw her like this Saturday but assumed I knew so he didn't mention it til today! Shaking my head!

I had a peachick with this too. Tylan resolved it for me but if you have a vet available, I would definitely see them.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I've thankfully been able to stay caught up with the thread, just haven't posted very much. just fj ishe day first 80hr work week last week and was beat. Hopefully Ill be back to the normal schedule soon. I did have some hatches recently, but of a different type! These two little guys hatched within the last two days. By far the best pet lizards out there!

Another duck egg again this morning...wierd!

I found goose eggs again when I went to add hay in the goose coop! I still have an Embden hen laying, just crazy. Geese usually only lay about 2-3 months a season.

Here's a couple pics of some younger cockerels that we'll prob use for next years Iowa Blue breeding/hatching .

We gave our girls the last of our Fall decorations! Sorry about the woodchipper lol!

Too cute, I gave my a lot of leftover pumpkins this year. My hogs loved them.
