Quick egg question: One of our Orps is always laying bullet-shaped eggs. They sometimes have a line or wrinkle in them. I'm not sure if this is OK or not. She just turned 1 year old last week, so I would think her pullet egg stage would be done by now. All of our other hens lay "normal" shaped eggs. Does she need a vitamin? (Shell thickness is normal. just weird shapes.) 3 weeks agoToday

Nothing to be concerned about and not really anything you can do something about - it's just what she does.Quick egg question:

It went okay. The weather affected the turnout a lot. We had two sellers cancel and most of the bird were sold in the first hour. Then all that was left was supplies. Looking to have another on July 18th ( the Saturday after the wells county 4-h fair). There might also be a few things changed to bring in more sellers.yes, I'm hoping too! I have these chicks and 6 more eggs incubating from another line. Crossing my fingers!
How did the swap go? I was really hoping I could make it but sadly work got in the way.
