INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I'm so heartbroken right now. My incubator wigged out and cooked 50 eggs that were supposed to go into lockdown on Sunday. They included a bunch of Bielie eggs I was hatching for myself, some Marans from EllyMayrans and my silkied lavender ameraucaua eggs that I had shipped in.

This was the first hatch of the year for myself. Now I don't trust my incubator. Anyone close by interested in setting some eggs for me once I re-group? I guess I need to figure out a better incubator situation for next year.
I can volunteer to incubate for you. My cabinet has almost emptied at this point. I am thinking I need to set some more Bresse eggs as I've pretty much sold out of all the chicks I hatched. I would have plenty of room for anything you want to set. (actually just hatched a set of your Bielie's for a customer who asked me to incubate them for her.)

Anyone have turkey or guinea eggs? I'm thinking of trying turkeys. After seeing janets midget whites, I'm loving that size but would consider other heritage breeds (I like royal palms and bourbons as well). For guineas any color is fine. If any hatch I will likely keep the hens and sell the cocks. Definitely wasn't a fan of the males when I had them last time and the hens seemed to stay around and not adventure as much.
Unfortunately every turkey hen I have is broody at the moment, so I decided to let them hatch eggs. Once that is finished I should have midget white and sweetgrass eggs.

I finally got around to shooting some photos of my Jubilee Orpington chicks, two pullets and a cockerel, all hatched about Easter. They are for sale. My farm is NPIP certified and the chicks have been vaccinated against Marek's disease. PM me if interested.

@SallyinIndiana , can you provide a link and/or more info on these fly-killing bugs? They've already started here in low numbers. I've used expensive fly baits with limited success (some, just not enough). If there is a natural killer but that doesn't eat garden veggies out there, I think a lot of us would like to know about it.

THANKS!!

I've got a little rooster trying to sqwak out a crow at 7 weeks old. Does that seem young to you?
Nope. I heard a 4wk old Bresse boy trying to crow last night. Sounded more like he was strangling, but he was all proud of himself. Immediately tried to pick a fight with one of the other boys. And that is from one too young to go outside yet!
