INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I have my first broody hen! She couldn't have picked a worse week. It was my busiest work week, and my parents are out of town so I am watching their two dogs.
So we now have 3 dogs, 6 chicks & a broody hen in our house!!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do next....

Our neighbor owns 3 different lots, and one of them joins ours. We would like to buy that joining lot. We have agreed on a purchase price, and I plan to pay him cash (no loan). Whats the next step? Do I HAVE to get a lawyer?

It is a simple half acre lot, in the country. Thanks!

So....I got two mystery chicks from tsc in Plainfield. (Also got 7 silkies for friends as they have been searching for them!) there was a bin of leghorns. Typical yellow that turn white then what I got. I talked to two different employees, one said she personally unpacked those chicks and they were definitely labeled leghorn. She couldn't remember which hatchery so I can't just search their stock. I've never seen leghorns with leg feathers.....

Who wants to play? What did I get???

They were in the same bin with the leghorns? Were they the same size or smaller? Could they be Brahmas?

@Finnie they were in the same bin with the leghorns. Same size. And the employees stood by the fact they were marked leghorn. Brahmas could be fun! They are cute for sure :)
