I think I might go to the bank tomorrow and talk to a friend that is a loan officer there. I guess I probably need title work and all of that jazz. That's a bummer for a ½ acre lot.... oh well. I'd rather do it right

Hey all. New to BYC since yesterday and have spent quite a bit of time on here. Indiana girl all my life. Fairly new to raising chickens just about 7 months now.I have 6 hens laying I was given last fall. The chicken math got me pretty quickly. I'm up to 18 birds now. They are filling my empty nest syndrome quite well.

@Finnie they were in the same bin with the leghorns. Same size. And the employees stood by the fact they were marked leghorn. Brahmas could be fun! They are cute for sure

Hey must have gotten more in! I was there Monday the speckled and brown leghorn were there with the orphingtons. They were getting some feathers already. I'm highly considering going to get some. Do they have a minimum?

They suggest two....
I may head over there today and see what they have....it's less than a mile from my house so even if I come home empty handed.......yeah right!

We got some Friday if they were only a mile away I'd drive them crazy. But still we are less than ten minutes apart!

Okay...i missed the speckled Sussex but did get a white leghorn a barred rock and a mystery colored leghorn...picture attached what color do you think it is?

Omg....i got a brahma...just saw an earlier thread...mine also came out of the leghorn bin......yeah me....si I have a light Brahma a barred rock and a white leghorn which I recently learned I've been pronouncing it wrong it's not leg horn its legern....
