Turkeys are so curious, it even starts in the incubator! They just had to watch my every move.

I really like this pic. Normally it's the people watching the chickies. They've got it the other way around!

Also, what kind of incubator is that? It looks great for viewing. Do you get good results?

Two poor dead little chicks in the bantam bin at Tractor Supply on Brookville road today. My daughter was the first one to the chicks and yelled for me- I knew something was horribly wrong from the tone in her voice. I had to practically tackle the closest employee (someone I'd never seen before) to get her to listen to me and she was completely emotionless, like she was going to remove a cracked water lid. Very disturbing. Almost all those poor babies had pasty but too. Some pretty bad. I was reminded why I will not buy from tractor supply.

Someone please post some happy birdie pictures! We are traumatized!
Sadly my TSC was pretty much same thing. Almost all chicks had pasty butts and dirty bins. Water looked like they haven't changed it in a couple of days. Found 4 dead chicks in silkies bin. Was hard to find any employees for help. They were all in the back not even one at the registers. Found 1 employee but she was too busy on her phone and kept ignoring me. Took her 5 mins of me following her around for her to put down the phone. She just threw the poor dead ones into a trash bin!!

@flyladyrocksThey are from my own flock. Bourbon Red tom over a Blue Palm hen. So the poults are Red Bronze and Blue Red Bronze.

It is an Incuview. I do get pretty good results. Usually I incubate in a different bator and just hatch in the Incuview. But two of my hatches so far this year were in the Incuview the whole time. 100% on both of those! (I did assist with two on the second hatch.)

Sure, I will let you know! I'm raising up five, and once I know there is one male and two females, I will sell the other two. I also have eggs in the bator that are a day late, so we'll see about those. One of them showed movement yesterday. Fingers crossed!

I sold the father, so I don't know how much longer the eggs will be fertile. But I'm going to set all the eggs I get and hope.

Did I mention our daughter is having a baby this month? I may have. I'm trying to be like a real grandma and talk about it everywhere I can! Well, I've stopped setting eggs so that I won't have to worry about the incubator around the due date. Since turkey eggs take four weeks, I figure I can set them one week before her due date, and then even if she goes late, the baby should still be at least a couple of weeks old before things start hatching again! :lau
