When I sell anything pertaining to poultry I always tell those who bought from me to join BYC. I tell them how awesome it is and how much stuff they could find! I'm trying to get my local Hay seller who sells bales for only $1 and this other person who sells Muscovy, chickens, quails and other stuff to join BYC. They always come to me asking if I know anyone wanting to buy. They are hesitant to join! I'm actually in the middle of an email to them with links to BYC!

I wish there could be a huge get together swap meet. Would love to meet everyone!

Ohh My Mocha hatched 5 fluffy ducklings today. She had 15 eggs but when I checked her nest, I only found 2 rotten eggs and no egg shells from the hatched ducklings or the rest of the eggs she had. I know she had 15 eggs because I gave them to her. I think one of my ducks was stealing her eggs? I seen my Snow walking around with an egg in it's mouth 2 days ago. Thought it was weird, but she has her own nest with 15+ eggs due to hatch 1-2 weeks from now. Their aviary has no damage no holes from any predators. And my king German shepherd is always patrolling the property. So I'm assuming someones stealing eggs! Also my other girls are trying to steal Mocha's ducklings! My blue pied male isn't leaving their sides either. He is staying right next to Mocha and the babies.

I've convinced a few people to get chickens this year and know a few people who don't want to admit they need help/advice. I try to get everyone to join. It has been such a relief and help being able to ask questions and read articles and posts. I joined very shortly after I got my girls.

Most likely, one of your other girls has snitched them. Depending on how "predator proof" your run is, you might have opossums, rats or snakes. Very hard to proof a run from rats and snakes, and both gleefully take off with eggs. Another option is that she cracked them (accidentally, most likely) and possibly ate them.
