Well, I read this thread & post when I can - if that's what you mean. But, I'm simply a member. Not official in any way. I don't even live in IN. (but I like you guys! )

I'm not posting much due to personal things, but I try to get on and catch up regularly.

We've been working on thinning our flock down and getting our run done. Hoping to have a new coop up by winter, but if my husband doesn't stop spending money on his Jeep we'll not being going anywhere with our coop.

@Leahs Mom I did! But I want to choose a picture more related to my flocks and herds now. Have to get with @Mother2Hens once I pick a picture I like! @Faraday40 you are such a dear friend I have never met. Our thread is for anyone, does not matter where you live. @Nyla
Contributors are folks that help us keep our member list updated. We ask you are familiar with google docs or Excel. Give our thread a jump start if things get quiet~or if tempers flare and things need to be avoided..speak up. We have a member page that gives lots of helpful links. https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/indiana-bycers-members-events-links.64617/ I have not been able to be here much since March, my Moms decline and passing July 26th. Many of us have shared here for nearly 5 years. 12/18/2012 is the date our thread started. When we started, it was my goal to always keep this going.. there were 2 inactive threads for our state. Contributors help keep it going.

Ohh My Mocha hatched 5 fluffy ducklings today. She had 15 eggs but when I checked her nest, I only found 2 rotten eggs and no egg shells from the hatched ducklings or the rest of the eggs she had. I know she had 15 eggs because I gave them to her. I think one of my ducks was stealing her eggs? I seen my Snow walking around with an egg in it's mouth 2 days ago. Thought it was weird, but she has her own nest with 15+ eggs due to hatch 1-2 weeks from now. Their aviary has no damage no holes from any predators. And my king German shepherd is always patrolling the property. So I'm assuming someones stealing eggs! Also my other girls are trying to steal Mocha's ducklings! My blue pied male isn't leaving their sides either. He is staying right next to Mocha and the babies.
