INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Nova + Koda + Amy are getting so big!
Went to take pictures of Nova on the 15th, found out she was in heat and didn't want to be bothered with:

So I put Nova in the house and took Koda outside for pictures! He is huge! He's on the larger side of Border Collies! And He is a cuddle bug! Whats better then a big dog that loves to cuddle?

Took Amy outside that day also! Amy has doubled in size since I brought her home!

Took Nova back outside for Pictures again today! She is now in the second stage of her Heat Cycle! So she is lovey dovey! She kept wanting belly rubs and hugs! I just love how grown up she looks! Also she wanted me to hold her paw the entire time we were outside!

Ohh here is a long over due Update on Chloe. The Border Collie my sister got on the 4th of July.
Her Fur was badly matted and had to be shaved off:

After (Taken 3 Days ago)
Chloe is very active and hard to get a standing still picture! She is in love with Frisbee and Fetch! My sister is doing Agility with her in the spring along side me and Koda! Nova loves to play Fly Ball and loves herding.

Had our Chinese goose, Lucy, euthanized on Saturday. She wasn't walking around any more, and I would have to carry her, and bring her food and water.

The vet couldn't find anything wrong with her.

Wow @JanetMarie I wonder what happened?

Did you have the vet euthanize?
Yes, the vet euthanized her. She was broody for a week and stopped sitting. Then hardly ate after that. I think maybe she was depressed about the eggs.

My gander, Wilbur, also had a chicken girlfriend, and maybe she wanted him to bond with her and he didn't, but maybe just regarded her as a friend.

Loving all the great pictures :love!
Been super hectic here last few weeks.
Meet Cayenne our new buckling, 8 months old. Met a fellow goat keeper for new lineage. We were both pleased to do the sale/purchase! We poured over all their papers and found no relation whatsoever. My oldest doe is 3 (5 total), so I won't be keeping any doelings for a few years. I'm not a fan of horns, but he has excellent demeanor & conformation. He was my birthday present from my DB. I still have my old buck, he won't be used this year.
Chickens are still molting, ducks are laying great! Leghorn laying nonstop!
We have a couple weeks we can still work at our campground, getting new camper onsite & old one home. .

Winter downsizing, tell us your plans! Up sizing is OK too. I plan to get more Dark Cornish spring, but am pretty happy with the flocks i have. Will be adding a new flock of Brown Chinese geese as soon as available.

What are you going to do with the old camper?
