Will they use it??? Built this egg box recently to replace a plastic dog house I had been using. My previous girls liked it but rain would get in and make a mess of the nesting material. Hoping this will work out better. Still need to tack a little privacy curtain up over the openings. Wishing the plastic roofing extended a little bit farther out, but the pieces were scrap from when I built my coop so it'll have to do.

That's a pretty neat looking nest box. Seems like they should use it. You'll have to let us know.

Very sweet tribute to my dear son's wife.
It was a beautiful day here, Chickens were all sunbathing! Sunday sounds awful according to our weather reports. Time to add a lot of bedding before the weather hits.

I used to have a large vegetable garden. I now have only room for two tomatoes a year in pots. I've alternated each year trying to find the most productive variety in these conditions which isn't tasteless but havent found one I totally love yet.

I'm so excited to share this! My childhood best friend Ivy will be coming back to Indiana this summer. Before social media and cell phones Ivy didn't come back in 6th grade. Went to her house, it was empty, she was gone. She found me recently on Facebook and we've reconnected. She has a vacation coming and we hope to meet up at Indiana beach Monticello. She lives in SC now.
Its pretty awesome to reconnect to a dear friend you've thought was lost some 43 years ago.

So turns out house wasn't covered under insurance. The family friend we are buying our house from had the insurance in her name and was paying it with our monthly payments to her. She hasn't paid the insurance in over 2 months. Insurance company said they won't cover the damages.

Thank you! She is a AKC registered Border Collie and name will be Stella! She was born Feb. 2nd, 2019. She will be coming home last week of March or 1st week of April. We have 3 other Border Collies.
