I am sooo excited!! I was penning everybody up for the night and heard baby chirping from under my Millie!! I'd about given up hope!!! Ima anxious to see if she can rais ether now or if I'll have to help. Wonderful! Congrats to the new mommy hen! I have not let my girls hatch, but try to keep her separate from the flock if you can.

Love that picture. At first, I thought it was our 2 SLW! They look just like your birds, except our roo's tail isn't quite as dark.

Thanks you guys. They come running when they see that watermelon. Gus is starting to be a hormonal teenager, but he and I have an understanding lol!

Anybody have an experience with a silkie cross? I brought home a little EE/silkie girl last night. I am wondering if she will be a better layer than a pure bred silkie......

Good luck! Rabbit shows are always fun. Our fair (Elkhart Co.) begins a week from Friday -- the kids actually get to show rabbits twice. Saturday (20th) is an open ARBA youth show & the following Wednesday is the 4-H show.
