INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

CluckAcres- can't wait to see the finished product. Never really thought about using pallets like that. I'm assuming you then cover both the outside and inside with some sort of sheeting?

I was told I had to check out a blog that i would find it very interesting, So I went to it and it had all kinds of very useful information like fermenting feed and other interesting thing. So I am wanting to share it all with you as well. Here is the link. I will also post this link in our Member/Events/Links page. http://naturalchickenkeeping.blogspot.com/

I thought the snow would be a good backdrop for some pictures of some of my 6 month old Silkies. They weren't too impressed with the white stuff!

I am considering repurposing a huge dog crate I had for house training my english mastiff. Its the wire type, measures in feet..4DX3WX3H, can anchor perches for them in there. metal tray be easy to clean. Have some 1" thick foam sound deadening (hard, not the insulation type) For sidewalls to keep bedding in... Wheels are turning in my brain... hehe!

I will take the pallets apart and used the slats for siding and over lap them like on wood siding. I have some headliner insulation which i will wrap around it before put up the siding.
