INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I will be going to pick up 6 more chickens tomorrow, re-homing them. One rooster is an appenzeller, 1 salmon faverolle hen, 1 polish hen (she is 6 years old), 2 sex links, and 1 black hen. All the rest are 2-3 years old except for the sex links. They are only 1 year old.

So finally decided to give candling a try for the first time with the quail eggs. I ordered 12, received 14. They have been incubating for 9 days now. I believe at least 10 are growing, possibly 11! I took out 3 that appeared to be "empty". Cracked them open and indeed infertile. The last questionable egg I left and will candle it before lock down. I'm so excited!

Candled some of my eggs tonight and just about every one of them I looked at had babies growing!
