INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I've been wondering about deworming too. I have used ACV in the past and need to get it again. I loved how it kept the waterers from sliming up in the summer. But I'd still like to start a deworming program to deworming like 2 times a year. Just haven't figured out exactly what I want to use yet.

I just make sure coop stays dry and I also use UACV in water and I have been recently started fermenting the feed and use the UACV in it as well. The flock looks good and they love the feed.

Hello! I live just North of Indianapolis and in search of Silkie chicks for sale in our area. Please let me know if you have any for sale or know where I may be able to locate them.
Thank you!

It's chick days at our house! We were visiting relatives in Ohio and made the trip to Meyer hatchery -- on hatch day, of course. Needless to say, we left with 4 buff orpington. Then we came home to find our incubator chicks starting to hatch. So far we have 3 Mille Fleur d'Uccles -- so cute!

[/quoteCongrats! That's so exciting.

To bradselig and CluckAcres, Thanks for the vinegar tips. I will go to the health food store and get some UACV. I assume you can put a teaspoon per gallon of water every time you change the water, since they don't drink all the water before it's time to change it.

Yes. I always picked tip from Kroger. They sell the Brags brand (I believe that s the brand). I should get a couple more bottles and start it again. I also want to try fermenting feed.
