Brinsea Eco glow, however, I personally feel it would take much longer to recoup the start up cost vs just using a heat lamp. A few pages back, I posted my "homemade" Eco glow. I had most of the pieces already at home. Other than that, a single light bulb isn't going to consume that much electricity. Probably much less than the heater you are currently using to keep them warm. Most heaters are use 1500 watts. A light bulb is a max of 250 but you could probably get away with much small,lee bulb.

ok ill try those ... would fake snow fabric work too cuz we got 2 27inX20yd of it from my dads store

I would worry they would peck at it or eat it, is it the type with sparkles on it? You need something that generates a heat source, they wont be able to make their bodies warm enough to do it on their own. That's the purpose of the heat lamps or the heat mats.
