Our Cream Legbars are laying machines! Once they started it didn't take long to get BIG eggs from them, and out of 6 pullets we are getting 4-6 eggs a day.

BABY - Will you post some photos of your CLs, Please!!! You KNOW I'm waiting to see what my kiddos are then we're on!

Yea I got an assortment of eggs from a BYC member. I think there are 2 eggs growing. Hopefully they are pullets (isnt that what we all wish for lol!) and add them to my free ranging flock. I also have a single lavender Orp egg growing. Not too sure what ill do with it if its a roo.

That's exactly what I'm waiting for - to confirm genders for sure before getting the CLs. I don't have a huge hen house but they can range when it's not winter so that's good. I just have to be careful not to over crowd. If I have 3 pullets with the SFH (which I highly doubt but maybe) then it will change how many of the CLs I can house.

I think I should know for sure by end of May or beginning of June.

ill post pic of the trap but I have a question I have 2 chickens with a bald belly is this good or bad and what caused it???

If they are hens and trying to go broody, they will pull the feathers out of their bellies to keep the eggs warm.
