Just starting to catch up, busy day... Meet Paddy, my 1st ever Chinese gosling hatched just a few minutes ago! Strong little baby, I am so excited! Be back in a bit waiting to see who is next!

Congrats! That is so exciting. Once I get the hang of hatching chickens, waterfowl is my next task.

Lol, good old chicken math! In one way it's a good thing that rural king is about 1hr away from me, however, the bad thing is I still drive there to look at their chicks. Besides Orschelns, I find them to have the biggest variety.

Yes i agree, i am very impressed with the variety,only issue i had was one of my polish had the worse case of pasty butt i have seen,but with much protesting we got her all taken care of unfortunly rual king is about twenty minutes from us,and i usually go there for horse and chick feed,i may have to give list to hubby for few weeks and let him go in

last time I went, i bought all 16 bantam they had left! I stay far, far away

• Hot Water Heater Thermostat
• Thermometers with Huimidity Reading
• Duct Tape
• Light Bulb

• Fan from our Old Computer
• 8 X 10 Plexiglass

im building a homemade incubater soon hopefully

Just about everywhere sells the hardware cloth the same place. Hot water thermostat you can get at lowes or menards for under $10. Thermometer with humidity is all different prices. Just depends on how fancy you want it. Duct tape you can get at dollar store. Light bulb dollar store as well. Water Reservoir you can use any small container, Computer fan you can get at Radio Shack. You can go buy a 8x10 picture frame and take the glass out of it, that will be cheaper than plexiglass.
