INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Does anyone know of places in central Indiana to get bantam chicks? I called all theTSC stores close to me (sw side indy) and they either didnt have bantams or were sold out. Thanks for the help

OOOOh maybe i have a few millies and porcelains too! I have 3-4 silkie and a few cochin for sure.

Thats an excellent idea! I use soups a lot! I am worried any of my eggs close to the bulb will be overheated.

:love Do i see australorp? They are just precious!
Well I think English Orps might have that in them way back LOL. No they are black and blue LF English Orpingtons. They are such little chunks!

Ok, here are my baby bantams at 2 weeks... any ideas? First one is a silkie.
Guessing Golden Laced Cochin on number 2, White Cochin on number 3 (definitely not a D'Uccle -I have those and they don't look like that as chicks- could just be the pose but the wings and beak make me pause for some reason at saying Cochin- just not quite sure), definitely a MF D'Uccle on number 4 and Black Cochin on number 5. Super Cute! I love getting "assorted bantams" at TSC. Guessing is SO much fun!

They should get new ones in every week for a little while. Ours in Seymour gets bantams in every week on Tues-Thurs mornings. They sell out fast! :)

Sorry vickichicki but I missed what post you're responding to. I am really considering the peacock avenue..so interested in who "They" you're referring to? I recall reading about Naptown ... not sure if that's what you're replying to though.
I am sorry, I was referring to a post from Rural Mama and a place called Dinkys.

So 'they' would be Dinkys auction. Located in Daviess county.

I really need to start quoting people on my replies. Would definitly be less confusing.
