[Too Fast]

I am glad this thread is very active. None of the other groups I belong to is this active, but in order to be active someone has to keep posting something to keep it that way. I will try to post a little more often than I do, I can be a very good stalker

of the forums. Lol! We are waiting on the next 50 degree day to get started, but may have to settle for 40 degree weather instead.

Just checked the weather forcast, no 50 degree in there until 10 days from now. And what is with this snow??????????

How big are your chickens now, and how many do you have?

I have been busy working on my new pallet coop. Some of you have seen some of the progress pics already. that i posted before. For the ones that havnt seen them you can find them in the photos section on this thread. Made alot of progress today so here is a few pics of what i accomplished today. i took these photos tonight as i was packing it up and called it quits for the night. This has been only long project glad we had a nice day so i can finally work on it.

Nice looking pallet coop you're building. (from one pallet coop builder to another) Ours is coming along, we worked a few hours last night and will again today. Then, hunker down for the snow storm coming in Sunday.

Elly- the chicks were strait run and the guinnies are too. They only had about 6 more Bantys left but had probably a couple hundred guinnies. Columbus RK.

We have a goat that had 4 blue eyed , black and white bucklings, Yes all 4 were boys, just our luck !! LOL !! I've been bottle feeding, We lost one ; but took the other 3 down to stay with their mom this morning. they are all doing great NOW , FINALLY !!!

They are frist generation mini nubiams, and ALL FOR SALE !!!

SNOW !! REALLY!! Where is spring. I think we are just going to go straight into summer.

Congrats on the goats! I would love one, but if I mentioned another animal to my husband right now his head would explode!

Maybe next year will be the year of the goats! This year is obviously the year of the CHICKENS!

As far as the snow and going straight into summer, I don't think my house is big enough for all these chicks full grown. I need some good weather to get my coop built. I WANT SPRING!!!!

Bloonskiller~ i'd help with the stake out if Iwere closer. I would be angry if anything got mine. I can tell you are too

i am mad......but more sad for my wife. she doesn't really "like" the chickens most times but one that was killed was her favorite. a white easter egger who laid green eggs. that had been attacked by a dog that she nursed back to health to be put back with the flock and again get attacked by another dog, she was just too gentle since our dogs are great with chickens. after four weeks of taking care of her and nursing her back to health. she was back with the flock the last 3 weeks and doing great. laying every other day and my wife wanted me to incubates some of her eggs. then she was killed. luckily I have the last egg she laid, keep your fingers crossed it is fertile!!!
