Well... It seems this joke went over my head, lol. I was born on the other side, in NC. On another note, I just went and spent some quality time with my chicks, haven't been able to do it in the last couple days and DH has been taking care of them. They grew up! I was preparing to introduce my 2 (or 3, can't quite remember!) week old Silkies to the rest of the flock, but it now I'm scared! The banties are only slightly bigger, but my god, the LF are huge! About the size of a crow. I knew in my head that they'd get big, but I guess I never thought it'd happen! Makes me a little sad. And boy, I've been covered in scratches the last week and couldn't figure out why. I'll tell you why! Chickens have TALONS. They all flocked to me as soon as I brought out the cracked corn and mealworms and made me their junglegym. Ow. And one of my Roo has decided that he needs to peck my eyes. I never thought I'd say it, but sometimes I wish I knew a place that'd process chicken for me! But then he'll sit on my hand as sweet as can be. I can't figure out what his business is!Are you sure you where not born on the other side of the Ohio river???? lol![]()
