INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I see I just surpassed your post count. I am 5 months newer to this place then you are, and don't believe I post that much. I last checked this site Friday evening and this morning their were 75 new posts! I skim a lot, but read for useful info. Does this make me a post whore? John may have something to say. I'll just tell him to put on his tinfoil hat if he does.
Why do you have to show off with more posts than I have?

I have fewer posts as I reserve myself for being funnier and sounding more edumacational in smaller bursts.

So we have a family reunion in Muncie tomorrow, and I decided to make Deviled eggs out of our first dozen. These are our Cochin, and Wyandoote 6 month old girls eggs. They are so small!!! And a completely off subject pic of our girls today :) ....
Beautiful alpacas! And tasty looking deviled eggs.

Okay, I needed a good laugh this morning, and I got it. Over at the Facebook BYC, there's someone who posted a picture of a very obvious Easter-egger rooster claiming that it was a hen. Then, they posted a picture of another rooster to prove that this bird was a hen, but the picture of the rooster they posted looks like an older version of the rooster they're claiming to be a hen! And they still don't believe it even though they have about 15 different people saying this is a rooster! They just flat out said they'll tell us when they start getting eggs! Some people!

Here is their 'Americana hen', by the way.

Want to know the best part? They said this bird is definitely a hen because, 'she's been clucking'. :lau My goodness, my boys have been clucking, too! I have more hens than I thought! Although I still don't have any eggs from them at 2 and 8 years old...

My 2 year rooster make clucking noises too. And trust me he IS a rooster. He crows all the time and had the tail feathers and colors to prove it. It just irritates me when someone wont listen to what others have to say. That is obviosly a rooster. I will be waiting to hear about that egg lol.

Ok, now I'm afraid I have a pair of roosters. How do you tell? In that picture, the head looks a lot like my "pullets". Mine are darker and look black when the sun isn't shining on them. I will upload some pictures if I can get any good ones.
