INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I am from NJ, but I have a bunch of family in Indiana, and they keep telling me that they are just getting pounded with snow! I hope everybody and their chickens stay safe in this storm!!

I'm sitting at at an Urgent Care Center with my daughter Lauren. She finally made it back from Chicago, but is real sick with fever and respiratory problems. After hours of rain, it just started snowing as we left. I'm glad to read posts while waiting! I'll respond about Jersey this evening. Thanks for the responses!

I hope everything turns out all right with your daughter. My thoughts are with you.

We have a foot of snow now and we are just at the halfway point of the storm. They said on the news that they could issue blizzard warnings, and our county in under a state of emergency. My husband is plowing in Fort Wayne. I am drinking my wine and trying not to worry.

We have 8 inches so far. Travis (dh) Just left to plow, and I probably won't see him until sometime tomorrow. It's nerve wracking, but it is what it is. Here are some pics so far of our winter wonderland and my creatures keeping warm.
I love the winter wonderland pics!!! You have a great set up for your babies! I've always wanted to live in the country! Right now I'm about 500ft outside city limits, and have neighbors who wouldn't appreciate pigs, cows, alpacas, or goats! They love the fresh eggs from my girls though!
