I just use poly vi sol with out iron, chick saver, ACV. Silkies are prone to wry neck and vitamin deficiencies. I have 17 in the coop right now. 12 grown 5 2 month olds. The more the merrier, I would wait to put your babies out for a bit, until this next cold snap anyway. Mine are piled up in the coop. It's 30 degrees out, I can see them on camera, and they seem okay. I have also been watching a little mouse, james bond his way in between them sneaking food. I don't want him in there but it is entertaining

That camera is awesome! I am definitely going to have to add it to my wish list! Can you log in online and watch? I would get nothing done at work lol!

I love the white ones, she gave me a lt. green egg today and I couldn't close the egg cartoon... lol 

My first and only EE I got from my pet chicken is white. We still have her and she is a great reliable layer of pale blue eggs.

they say 10-14 days but I would suggest no more than 7 if you can avoid it but it just lowers you viability so hatch rate decreases significantly past the 7 days.

I have hatched eggs around 3 weeks old, so I would definitely give it a try!

It is a monitor with 2 wireless cameras. You can add 2 more cameras to it. Somehow you can set it up with skype, but I could never figure out how.

I agree with trying to stay within 7 days. That said, I'm supposed to be getting shipped eggs in sometime soon and plan to set 2 or 3 eggs that will be about 10 days old.
