Forgot to mention the cockerel is fertile. Very fertile. The bcm bym is his favorite lol. He's also a gentleman though skittish to people and he sounds like a sick trumpet when he crows. Not very loud lol.

I'd definitely take the brahma, and possibly the younger blrw. Just done know when I could make it downOk so to make room for the new birds I'm getting I need to get rid of some birds. I'm really open to 2 or 3 to 1 trades if you are willing to pick the birds up and you have something awesome!
1 laying hen black copper mom was a marans dad was a brown leghorn. She looks like a bcm though lays very large cream or light brown eggs.
1 blrw cockerel has amazing color and lacing and is getting ok type but he's small. Could be used in your breeding program if you had a big ol girl. 6 or 7 months old.
1 blrw cockerel 3 or 4 weeks old black lacing.
1 blrw pullet 3 or 4 weeks old splash lacing
1 blrw cockerel 3 or 4 weeks old splash lacing excellent red color for a splash. Biggest chick I have bigger than the brahmas lol.
1 gold partridge brahma pullet 3 or 4 weeks old
1 ee pullet, 3 or 4 weeks old dad was a wheaten am, mom was a partridge. She has really beautiful crisp colors, the typical ee coloration but really crisp.
Selling them works for me as well, only the brahma would be pretty pricey. I'd prefer trading for banties or laying birds if possible.
By the way this is a chocolate wyandotte. They're not really bantam size from my understanding they're more 3/4 size lol.

Where did the blrw eggs come from? Out of 8 eggs maybe only 1 would be breeding quality.I woke up this morning and have been frazzled ever since. One of the first things i do in the morning is check on my incubator. I have no idea what happened but my incubator spent 5 hours at 75F early this morning. I know because my DBF said he checked on it last night before he went to bed and then again this morning at 5:30 when he left to go do a walk marathon thing with his parents. My eggs that i got from ellymayrans are due to hatch this coming wednesday, and now i'm devastated because i might not have a good hatch now. I have no idea what happened to the heating element, and it was a brand new-never before used Little Giant. The fan that i hooked up to it was even still running. I moved the eggs to my spare back-up incubator, but now i have two diffferent hatches in one incubator with one due to go into lockdown tomorrow. It never ends......![]()
Warning: this will be a little pic heavy! I wanted to give a few updates: Thursday I received my BLRW hatching eggs that i won off and Ebay auction on mother's day. The listing said 8+ BLRW eggs and when i was taking the eggs out of bubble wrapping, my one extra egg was cracked
The bright side is that all 8 seem to be okay. Hoping i can get these to hatch because my sister and i both want a breeding pair.
this is how my shipped eggs came in the box

this egg is cracked
And i wanted to give an update on my older girls.......

and this little one into....
(ps, ignore the background) 3 out of 4 of my girls are extremely friendly!!! When i was taking their most recent pictures, i decided to sit down on the ground. My BLRWs and my BR then came over and flew up onto to my shoulders and climbed onto my legs. Then they started talking my ear off and fighting over who had the best spot on my legs and shoulders. My EE was stand-offish but i know thats just her. Funny girls, they bring me some much joy with their personalities!!!

They came from a person name hiddensunset on ebay but they came from New York. They are also "supposed" to be Foley lineage. I figured i would take a chance on them just see if i could get any to hatch and it was also kind of a little mother's day gift to myself. I won't be terribly upset if i only get one breeding quailty bird as right now i don't live in a place where i can properly have breeding pens etc. My sister and i just really love how beautiful BLRW are and are willing to share birds. Maybe hopefully within the next couple years i might get serious about breeding and selling, but for right now, i think its just for fun.

I have a BLRW from the hatchery. I'm thinking she is not breeding quality. She has not started to lay yet. I have not decided if I'm going to rehome her or not. But whey compared side by side with a breeder, she is not striking at all. Still when she is off in her own corner of the pen she is pretty.
I have to say Thank you to @racinchickins again. My top breeding RIR rooster is now healthy. His surgery went well and his foot is much better, not swollen at all.
