@bradselig
I see that there was a "train" from VA to IN on the swap forum. I was trying to find someone to bring me a bird from VA and just missed it![]()

THEN...
My grandson came over one day and saw them. He says, "Can I eat some?" (This is the honest truth.) I said, sure. And he did.
I'm going to try to pretend I didn't read that!
Gives me shivers just to think about the part I quoted above!Went out this afternoon and one of my chicks is goneWe had a hawk visit later so I assume that's where it probably went. Thank goodness we were out in the yard this time, it didn't get anything!
Oh and I have a sick bird I'm not sure what to do with![]()
So sorry for your loss! Can you list the symptoms of your sick bird so that someone might be able to help?Ugh, I've been bad again! Picking up some silkie hens and chicks on Tuesday and just won another pair of jubilee orps and another pair of mottled orps. I guess I will be combining my partridge silkie pen with my partridge showgirl pen. Does that count as downsizing? Lol
Close enough, right?
Any others hatch out?
. But do still have 2 more eggs incubating. Hoping for the best with them. Trying to increase humidity a little to see if that helps.
That baby is so cute, and seems so small, too!! Here's hoping you at least get a male/female pair out of all of this!Here's the little cutie! Hopefully it's a pullet!
