INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Something unusual happened today. My SLW pulley was running around in the yard and the other two hens were chasing her. I thought that was strange so I stopped and took a closer look. The SLW had a pair of frog legs hanging out of her mouth and the chase was on. I could not believe they found a frog this time of year and in below freezing temps. Maybe it is another sign of early spring.
There have been strange things happening for December. I'm pulling ticks off my cats--didn't think I needed to keep up the Frontline in winter. Also had a bug--we always called them stink bugs--come in my back door. I promptly invited it to go back outside.

Here is what Indiana BYC'ers is all about and special thanks to @atrueb00 and @Mother2Hens working to create the article.
I am sorry I have been mia lately! Got big news... 1. I got a job at a company that makes baking products, and as some of you know, I love to bake! 2. I moved to Terre Haute last weekend and started the job on Monday. I have a ton of family in and around TH and love being so close to them all. 3. Officially tied the knot with DH on December 8. Married my best friend and so happy right now! 4. I have been reunited with my chickens! (And it feels so good ;))
Congrats on the "I do's", the move and the job. Don't know how you managed without your birds, lol, I'd have gone bonkers!!! Oh Wait... I'm already Bonkers! Hehehe

Ok, I need egg cartons. Of those of you that sells eggs, where is the best place to buy them? I went to Rural King this morning and bought one dz. foam cartons for .29 ea. they used to sell the paper ones but they are discontinued.

I need some advice on moving Polish chick's outside. They are in a brooder in my detached, insulated garage. They were on a heat lamp for the first 6-7 weeks, then I turned it off for a few hrs at a time gradually to nothing at all. So they've been in a unheated garage for a week or so with no extra heat. I would guess the garage stays 10 degrees or so, warmer than outside. They are about 11 weeks old and fully feathered. Think it's ok to move them out to grow out coop with other birds and no extra heat?

I like the ones I got from here.

Also I now include a small slip of paper in my cartons with the week the egg was laid, and a request to return cartons.

editing to add if you were closer, I have some styro foam ones you could have. I like uniformity and people tend to give me back random egg cartons sometimes.
