Weighed my first 12 CornX this morning. The cockerels are around 3.5lbs and the pullets are at 2.5lbs. About halfway done with them!! Can't wait for some of my own fresh chicken!

That's so funny....My BRs used to do the same thing. If the camera came out they were right there. There most be something about the camera that they find attractive!

On the bio-security....hub and I took a walk today in the downtown park on the river that is always full of Canada Geese. When I got there I realized that I'd have to wash my shoes and all when I got home. I hadn't even thought of it until we were right there.

Our area is a huge Canada Goose hang-out.

It was funny as I was also watching a hawk in the trees by the river. Flying from tree to tree. He doesn't mess with the geese, but I can just imagine him thinking how he could just cut to the chase and take care of breakfast, lunch and dinner in one if he could just get one of those geese. Imagine how many mice it would take to equal a goose!!!

Well I got to meet @nwchickma today. Unfortunately very briefly as I left the family at the ballpark to get her her 4 banty Cochins.

Crazy busy day!! First practice at 9am...day of pics for the teams and more practice..our beautiful day was spent entirely at the baseball fields! Sigh!

I have Sooo many things I need to do and I came home exhausted. I hate that! Boys had fun though so that's what's important!

Thank you so much for my cute little babies your Mille Fleur(sp?) roo is the cutest thing I've ever seen!
