Guys am shouting out again for help. We need contributors that can help update our member list. Right now I am the only one doing it, and I am so far behind! Have 4 folks needing updates. You just need to understand excel or google docs.
This thread is for all of us in Indiana and many folks just outside thats dear friends. I dont care where you live, anyone is welcome! Our member list shares our breeds that we keep. Lots of other info to help other thread members. Our member page also has several awesome links to help new chicken keepers get started.

My son is starting to lose interest in his flock of ducks. He has 15 (I think) Ancona ducks (4 are drakes). All are the standard black and white except for 3 chocolate and white hens. They are 2 1/2 years old. He would be willing to sell them if there is anyone interested. Send me a PM for more details.

Ironically all three could be correct I've seen blue skies, blue seeds and blue hens.. I think more thought should be put into school books..

Purina has a email sign up or rewards type program. But their coupons are quarterly and even with a coupon Purina food still costs more.
Tractor supply sometimes has chick days brochures with a $1 off coupon for dumar feed. Even then the grain mills chicken feed can be cheaper still.
Rural king sends out 10% off coupons good for specific days and only on non sale items. If the chicken food is not on sale that day then its just over a $1 off per bag.

is a 4H leader, she can give you some advice too. She is my good friend just up by Anderson, raises Nubian also. Has a gorgeous sweet Buck, just adore him.
ETA I totally agree. Ear tags pose such a risk for infection and injury.

it can vary by county but in our county the goats need either an ear tag or an ear tattoo but not both.
