INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I have mixed feelings on the border Collie breed. Every experience I have had with them, they have killed someones livestock or pet. One of my Dads bottle goats was killed by one on our property. Another killed a cat, I had to take a report since the cat trespassed on the dogs property. I do know of a couple that are used as LGDs. Very high energy breed needs a lot of room.

So tonight we finally completed all the most recent pasture upgrades. Happy cows and my buck Tron enjoying a new pasture! Tron has his own house but lives with the cows when he isn't with his herd. I will only breed my does once a year. He will go back in with his ladies in November.

So my Hubby renamed him Orion! The family was actually really nice. They had him hooked to the fence for the pictures. They had this huge back yard fully chain-link fenced in and he was roaming free in their back yard when I pulled up. He is also all up to date on shots, dewormed, and micro-chipped! They will be transferring the ownership of him to me tomorrow! His head looks shaved though.. I asked them were did they get him.

They claim he hasn't be neutered, but he doesn't have any balls that I can feel at least. So I'm worried if he really wasn't, then he might have Cryptorchidism

I have a female Border Collie fully pedigreed and full registration if I chose to bred her. I might let her have one litter but no more after that. My family is begging for her puppies if she does have any. Her Name is Nova.

I use Nova to herd my Muscovy's into their coops at night. She did wonderfull with the chickens too! So you never know!

Phew, greenhouse envy over here on all these structures! I've always wanted a greenhouse, but it's kind of come in at the bottom of the list behind all the coop improvement ideas I have.

Just wanted to check in as we approach lockdown for the Silkied Cochin eggs in the bator. :D Paging @Faraday40 ! Munchkin babies are a'comin!!

I know that greenhouse envy well!
So we are down to two babies out of ten. I think I've got the problem fixed. Blocked the doorway just so they couldn't crawl out but mama can get out. I'm hoping these last two will survive.
