Our puppy tried to get into the bathroom trash can today. This is how I knew:

This puppy gets into everything. He knows how to open most doors in the house, so locking him out of a room only works if we actually use LOCKS.
Apparently he stuck his head all the way into the can & took the lid with him when pulling his head out.
Poor pup is getting neutered at the end of the month, so I guess he better get used to wearing a cone.

This was the closest they got to coming out of their coop, last Friday when the snow was getting melty and before our arctic plunge. They came out where I had tossed the scrapings off the deck (mostly droppings, but some leaves and shavings), and no further--with the exception of Perdita, my Dorking with a twisted leg, who hobbled her way half way across the yard in the snow, then hobbled all the way back.
