That was very thoughtful, never gave that a thought. I didnt think about taking a few burgers and dogs home with me, I did sneck a few pieces of pie and cake home thou. Ive never had goose berry before, so snuck a piece of it home and boy I really liked that.

You could have fed your birds with some of the food. I give all of our birds table scraps and left overs, they love it. We even get stuff out of the stores dumpsters and man when they see you coming with a box of that, they are knocking eachother over to get at it.

Thanks again for ALL you have done to make this happen. It was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw!! Carole took a pic of my deviled quail eggs!! You guys are special, I'm NEVER making them again!!

Your guys' chickenstock was so much fun, that we've decided to organize one for ourselves! We are just getting started figuring things out, but I believe it will be late September. Hope to see some of you there! https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=2643774#p2643774

they pop out real fast. I cant remember how long it takes them to hatch, but they are fast and fun to watch.

They should take about 18 days, but can go as early as 15 or as late as 21. saddina had some that didn't start hatching till day 23, that was really late!!

Well I can say this, when cleaning up outside, some of the pies were condensed onto one plate and I came accross 2 pieces of gooseberry pie Sunday night....those pieces are no longer with us

egg_newton's pies were delish!! I hadn't had gooseberry anything since I was a kid and boy the memories came rushing back.

Oh, and thie chickens have been getting leftovers that weren't salvageable, so nothing has gone to waste.

Those deviled quail eggs were sooo cute! I also took a pic of the cheescake, and the other tables! LOL I wish I woulda taken more pix.

I moved my birds around today, so there will be "more room"!? So many good memories! Such great people.....
