I was actually thinking of the chicken painting Miss_Jayne did on the child's face. I really love the look and if she would allow me to infringe a bit, I think it would be perfect! What do you all think?

I was thinking a silkie too, or a BB Red Game roo....

Or some breed of longtail? Other than white, of course

Oh, btw all, I should have some young quail to bring. As soon as I get caught up on egg orders, I'll be filling my bator! I have mostly jumbo browns, and a few A&M and tuxedos. Should have some golden eggs to set soon, but I only have 1 female. If anyone wants any, they'd be anywhere from 1 month to a few days I would think, by then. Not yet sure if I'm going to set the whole bator at once, or set so many a week. Though, at the rate I'm going, the whole bator full would probably be about a week's worth of eggs!

I could also have some button quail babies, if there is any interest in those. There has been interest in them here, some, so I plan on setting a few of their eggs. They have been hatching out great, so I'm sure I'll have more than I need!!

I also have 3 extra button quail males, about 7 months old, if anyone is interested.

Good to see you on SHelley! As much as I would love to see those little bumblebee Buttons hatching, I have no room for quail but I know there have been many here wanting them.

As far as a pic for the chickenstick plate, I would love for a silkie to be on it, I am just not sure if everyone has the silkie passion, in fact I know several people that do not like them at all. that's is why I thought of Miss_Jayne's artwork or for that matter, Mr. Fancy Pants loves the camera and we could use him as a model!

your little roo is a great model! Mr. Fancy Pants will fit perfectly in my chicken purse just fine also. i will stick him in there after the party when we go. oh wait, did i just type that out loud? P

Auggie is built for speed and endurance, when he was young, about 6 months ago, here he is aspiring to be a basketball star for the Pacers.
