Just got home a bit ago from taking the nephews to get food and to walmart Luckily they are easy to deal with but getting expensive to feed. . . . the 14 year old has been over 6 ft tall for the last year and the 10 year old is trying to catch his older brother in height haha

Hope everyone is doing well tonight !! And after seeing MJ's posts . . . I think I need some junk food :x

Sounds like my daughter, she is 6' tall, I am a measley 5'8"! Junk food sounds good although I had Taco Bell for dinner. Didn't have time to cook since it was coop cleaning day and boy, did it take all day! How are you Whitney besides tired of "big kids"

I'm doing okay, looking forward to August 1. Gonna try and clean out some of the run today and put fresh bedding down in it.

Just need the rain to hold off for a few days and let stuff dry out. We had almost 3 inches of rain between Wednesday and Thursday, setting a new record for the day.

I'm not doing bad, had to drag the kids into the baby section with me tonight to get stuff for a baby shower I have Saturday, never seen two teenage boys quite so embarrassed, and I try to embarrass them on occasion

Called "100 Chickens and a Worm" so far its a headache . . . but fun !

Hoping tomorrow the rain holds off enough for me to put my concrete down around my chicken run and finish the doors on my 2nd coop

I think Shultz is down river from us, and it is a swamp here in INDY. Everyday this week it seemed like it did not just but POURED!!! 2 inches one day 1 1/2 inches the next day. I have a five gallon buckey that was empty for haulin water, and needless to say we had no use for it this week, and it is over half way full. Must have had 4 or 5 inches of rain this week.
And as tradition has is, we go from Monsoon to drought. Like every year here in Indy........

Shelley-OSB is a form of plywood. They are 4x8 sheets. Sorry.
FrChuckW-I just did the very same thing yesterday! The mud was terrible and the girls love to play in the puddles

I think is't suposed to be nice today. I'm hoping so, for everyone's sake but I'm not going to hold my breath!
Whitney-"Schultzy" is fine, I think it's cute and Rob loves Hogans Heros so he likes it too! Oh, and I think all kids need a lesson in embarressment or is that suposed to be humility?

lildinkem-So true about the monsoons turning to desert drought!! I was "trying" to get some things planted in the garden Thursday and I was ankle deep in mud, literally. I am going to try working on it again today and with any luck I won't get stuck.
Oh, and yes, we are in Decatur Township, downriver so to speak.

Here's a pic of what part of the chickens run looked like yesterday, the girls thought it was fun to wade in the puddle. I put shavings in it afterwards to get it dry.

One more thing. My mom's artist friend Joyce is making the commemorative BYC plate for us as well as a few to sell. She is also working on a form for custom orders and I should have those by the middle of July.
