Sure Friday would be good if it's good for you. We will have to do some final trimming out of camping locations, just to make sure the weeds aren't too high. Rob mows back there weekly but I want to make sure it's perfect! Thanks Whitney!!

No problem at all !!! I am excited to be able to come

And more than happy to help with any set up, etc that needs to be done !!

Thanks Whitney and AC! You are very thoughtful and when the time gets closer, I can let you know where we are as far as progress goes. We have 2 firepits, one is close to the house and the other is in the woods but not too far. If this rain lets up, I am going to start clearing the firepit area closest to the house tomorrow while Rob finishes the turkey's new palace. Here is a pic of the camping area farther back, for those of you who are interested!

Looks great!!!!!!!!! I am super excited, actually went to moms and dug out my smaller tent!!!! tho looking at it its still a rather good size lol

Do we need paper plates/cups/napkins/utensils etc? if so i will start watching for sales

Yep we still need them. I have my mom on the lookout too since she goes to Sam's Club a lot. I also have some news about our cake. I don't think I can really afford the $80.00 for the cake I was going to get for us but I have an alternative. My mom and I are going to bake a carrot cake from a recipe that has been in my family for over 100 years so I hope everyone likes it! (she has a commercial cake pan) I am going to try my hand at decorating it myself using the BYC logo. I am a little nervous but I think all will be ok. It's just going to be eaten anyway, right?

As long as you don't let me frost it . . . .yeah . . . . not good at that whole frosting thing . . . but generally people don't care as long as it tastes good (in my experience anyways

hrm . . . . i might bring a couple of pies . . . I am recruiting my mother to come out and help me pick cherries this weekend, the tree is FULL and they are just about perfect for picking, I figure by this weekend they will be gtg. But they tend to be sourish cherries, not really tasty to eat off the tree but make great pies !!!! If we pick all the cherries, get em pitted, washed, and frozen we will have cherries comin out the wazoo
