Where are you coming from ?? (asks the girl from TN haha)

When I used to have "money" (aka a credit card and was like, eh, gas won't add up THAT fast *cough cough* I was driving from East TN to Warsaw, IN (up northern Indiana between South Bend and Ft Wayne) just about every other week. Went up thru indy vs going thru cinci b/c I have friends in Louisville and would often stop in and have lunch with them. I have taken several routes down from Warsaw to Indy, mainly b/c I like to experiment with different routes

Mainly I suppose I go down IN 14 or IN 15, it wants me to go all the way over to Ft Wayne and down I69 but that just seems way out of the way to me . . . . anyways . . .

I have been meaning to get back to my reading at night before I go to bed to try and attack my massive pile of books, but have lately been hooked on Tru TV's shows like forensic files . . . . . . I used to never watch TV, now I find myself watching that every night I catch it on hahaha

I'm going to try and come. I'm about 70 miles south of Indy. Haven't a clue as to what I'm bringing -- other than my husband but I will come up with something before then. If anyone needs roosters, I have some that are about 10 weeks old right now. SLW, Buff Orpington, and Speckled Sussex.

This sounds like a LOT of fun.

Deb

I actually came into ownership today of 2 polish hens, 3 delaware hens, and 1 delaware rooster. . . bringing my total chicken count to: way too many for my coop and run . . . . . and while normally I would just expand, it is possible where I am living may be more temporary than I originally thought, so will possibly be bringing some chickens to the swap, when it gets closer will list what I have, etc etc and see if anyone is interested in anything . . . don't know if I will have anything avaliable chicken wise for swapping or what I will have . . . . but will find out.

On the same note, got my first egg ever from one of the polish today haha Went to take it out of the carrier it was transferred from where I work to home to put it in the coop and lookie there, an egg in the back of the carrier hahaha

The true trick will be seeing if I have any eggs in the morning

Hi Deb, I will get you on the list. Nice to meet you and I can't wait to meet you all in person!

Whitney
Congrats on the new chickens and the egg! I hope she continues to lay for you

I know how you feel about having room, there was an ad on craigslist for free goats and thank God they were already gone because I have no idea where I would put them

A really good movie you should see is Seven Pounds, normally I don't like sappy movies but this one is REALLY good! I have 3 books I need to read but with everything going on and since I have also watched Seven Pounds 3 times and another older movie I really like, I think the books will wait until winter

Hey, I just found this post, haven't been on for a while.
At this point I plan to be there. I've got around 1200 chicks hatched and Im only planning to keep about 250-300 for replacement breeders so I will have several to sell by then. I can also bring my poultry supplies setup if anyone is interested...

Matt

Matt I would be interested but check with the Shultzes. They are the hosts for this event.

Ed what colors in the Guppies do you have? Once I get finished building the outside cages and coops, I'm gonna revamp my fish set-up for breeding again. I should have everything in place by the time the CS happens. Do you raise any other species of fish?

One of my neighbors found a cute little puppy running loose in the neighborhood the other night and brought her over to me. I don't think she has been spayed yet, but will be taking her to the vets next week to be sure. She is a Chihuahua/Min Pin mix and already fitting in with the other 6 MinPins I have.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi Matt~Nice to meet you. If you would like to setup a poultry supply area, I would not have a problem with that. Also, feel free to bring some chickens with you. I don't know if I have room for several hundred

but if there are people that show an intrest in purchasing quite a few chickens from you, I am sure we can make arrangements. What type of supplies do you have?
