I think I better make sure to pack some Pepto Bismal!

You guys are too much. If you get in the fridge, good luck finding it

there's a bunch of stuff in there.

Evrything sounds so good and since the BBQ contest is a no go, I am going to have everyone submit a ballot for which dish they liked the best and there will be a great frize for the winner or winners! I am going to get all the stuff ready in a bit, gotta bathe my forever dirty white silkie

first. Oh and I picked up 3 more prizes for Carole for the pinata and 12 tableclothes. We have about 25 tables but all of them don't need to be covered so I think we're set with that.

think i should bring my grilled mango chicken salad in one big serving bowl or would it be best to put everything on white and wheat bread sandwiches and cut them into 1/4's??

It's up to you really. I just got a big amount of hoagie buns and some sandwich buns donated to us today. You are more than welcome to prep here if you like!

How DO you get white silkies clean? Mine look like they went to a rodeo, they are filthy. One has a tophat that is all spikey instead of fluffy from when I gave them some soaked oatmeal cereal awhile back. She stuck her head so far into the bowl that she got cereal all over her head. I am wondering how to clean their tophats without dunking them...

I cant believe its almost here! Tomorrow I will be busier than a one armed paper hanger! Have to get the cages cleaned up a bit, and ready to load in the truck. Oh, and I was able to get the 50 pound bag of DE.

Tomorrow I will break it down to smaller bags. I need to get the chips tomorrow...oh, and I am makeing a tomato and cucumber salad. We love it here. Hope everyone else does too!
tic toc...tic toc....time is passing Sooooo slowly!!

Okay, somebody shoot me the next time I volunteer to make anything that requires peeling quail eggs!!

My little one was helping me, and we just now got done. I think it took us about 1 1/2 hours just to peel them, I still have to finish them! I'm done for the day, I now get to go catch some birds that are going to auction tomorrow, then I have homework that still needs done for today

I'm beat!!!

Who was it that was bringing (or could bring) welsummer pullets?? I have an EE roo that is very pretty, but I don't need him. I would like to get some dark-egg layers, to produce olive-eggers, so I don't have to get rid of my boy. But he is on the list to go to auction tomorrow, unless I know I can get some girls for him! It's hard to say when I'll be able to get to the auction again, so I need to take everything I can fit. Sure wish I had more cages, I'm about half tempted to turn my quail out into the chicken lot so I can use theirs!!
