I have just a couple eggs I am incubating plus some too dark to see inside. I hoped to hatch more, but the person who owns thes eggs washed them, fridge them, and may only have one rooster who is not any good.

Any how I decided to name 2 of them.

Both were from different shows I watched where someone was mad at another person.

Refrigerator eggs can hatch, just expect lower hatch rates. I hatch quail eggs in an upper Midwest winter. Sage grouse breed/lay in early March (cold!).

I was not asking if they do, the problem is the washing, which the lady did but 2 have 2 going.

I've hatched eggs from the fridge a couple of times when I needed a few more for some hatch along or just to finish filling the incubator. The fresher the better but the oldest were 3 weeks old and some still hatched. It amazed me because they were so close to being an omelet.
