My indoor chicken must be happy! She has given us 2 eggs while the other 13 outdoor zip. Poor things are being referred to as free loading slackers lol. But they most are going into the squat position and a few have been checking out the nesting boxes. Cannot wait to find the first egg in the coop!

You may want to put a golf ball or two in the nest boxes to give them the idea where they should lay their eggs. Sounds like you should be getting them soon. BTW lots of people have house chickens . You may want to check out the thread "people with house chickens." I think my friend may have pioneered that - she has had house pet chickens - various breeds, for the past 25+ years.
