Inexpensive cameras

This is a good game camera and takes good daytime and nighttime pictures. The only drawback is that it takes the tiny micro SD card. It is a good camera for distance at night. We live on a dead end road and a lot of critters travel along the fence line. I use rechargeable batteries because I use it in the video mode and video uses more battery power. In the picture mode the batteries last a lot longer.

This picture was taken with another game camera in the same spot. There is a coyote that you can barely see in the left side of the picture.

Here is a video I took not long ago at one of my grow-out coops with the camera.

The cameras cost less than $30 apiece. We now have 7 on and around our property. They're fantastic, and come highly recommended.

Thank you. I bought some for myself. When I mentioned to my son that I had gotten security cameras he said he'd been wanting some but could not afford them. So, being a good Mom, I bought 2 for him. I'll bet he'll be buying more for himself next week.

I got one to see how they did. Not bad. Of course, dummy me couldnt figure out why it wouldnt connect even though I was pointing the phone at the barcode square thingy until I realized you point the wyze camera at the barcode image on your phone. Duh.
For the most part it works but my internet fluctuates bad so I have to keep it on the 360p instead of the SD. Im not sure I can use them in my barn because it fluctuates so bad.

Seeing how my internet would deal with the wifi camera is one reason I wanted an inexpensive camera. Had to make sure the signal would be available where I needed it. Did not want to spend $100 dollars on one camera to find out my signal wouldn't reach. Now that I've bought the Wyze cameras I do not see any reason to spend money on a more expensive camera that will do basically the same job.

I did the same thing as you while setting up camera. Finally went to Youtube. It was easy as pie once I knew what to do. I love Youtube for stuff like that.

We needed to put in another router for our cameras out in the coop.

And OH MY GOSH it is nice to have live cameras in the coop when it's 20 below outside. I'm just saying.
Are they operating at those temps? If so, another good sign.

Here is my shot from this morning. Balmy 25ish degrees with a couple inches of snow. No chickens in there yet. Just getting it all ready for the end of February when the chicks arrive.

I did this exact thing.

HOW CAN YOU KEEP YOUR COOP SO CLEAN!?? I feel like such an amateur, that's beautiful.
No trouble at all, they worked fine in the cold. And what's really amazing to me is that we put a few outdoors with silicone housings on them. They aren't waterproof by any stretch, but they are all completely fine. None of them have had any trouble in the rain and snow and wind. We even have one that isn't under an eave, it's just nailed to a tree, and it works fine.
