infected comb on rooster

not sure whats going on with my roosters comb nd waddles. it started looking scabbed and now it is getting worse

I'm struggling with the same thing right now in my rooster. I've heard that you're supposed to just leave it and monitor it. And make sure it doesn't get super infected, and in this case it really doesn't look super bad. But I'm not sure what exactly to do with my roo.
