Hi, my two roosters attacked a dog that was threatening the flock. They were both missing feathers on their backs and had bloody combs. We brought them in for the night and cleaned them up. This is 6 days post-attack, and this morning I noticed one of the combs is infected. Cleaned it up and put topical antibiotics on it. My question is if it gets worse, can it lead to sepsis or will it just fall off?

before answering, it would be very helpful to have a picture of the comb if at all possible?

Pictures please?

Depending on how badly infected the comb is, I'd probably suggest Dubbing it.
