My BSL hen has feathers missing on her back. I assumed it was from the rooster just being to rough. So I kept her away from him for a couple of days and let her heal because it looked a little raw. She was fine after that and was happy to go back. But now that it's been a week she's missing more feathers and it's starting to smell. I think she may have an infection from where he keeps mating her and she has no back feathers. I've quarantined her in a separate pin since she was hiding. Now what can I do for the smell and raw spot on her back?
