Okay! Sorry I haven't been able to get back to you guys. I've been so busy.
My sister is at this very moment at the store to get supplies for the surgery. She'll be home soon and once she gets here, we'll get to work! Meanwhile, I have to print out instructions and get everything ready. Wish me luck! Here we go!

My mom did the cutting work, my sister held Squeak still, and I kept Squeak's foot clean. He was a very good boy and only struggled when I accidentally bopped him on the head with my elbow. When we were all done, he got a supper of tablescraps and went back to the coop. I checked on him often to make sure the hens and his son weren't pecking his bandages. Luckily, they're leaving his feet alone. He's doing fine now and has only removed one bandage himself, which I quickly replaced. We're out of bandages now, but we're going to pick up some more today. Squeak's taking this very well. He's a little grumpy because I won't let him chase hens, but he looks like he's in less pain.
