We were going to call the vet today and see if they could do it without costing us a ton of money, but they closed half hour before we called. Dx They open again tomorrow morning at 8, so we'll call again then and see. If they can't do it, luckily, it'll be a Saturday so I'll have plenty of time to do it.

One more suggestion... if your vet doesn't normally take care of chickens (my vet doesn't) if you can, print out one of the documents detailing the procedure. I do this for my vet on the rare ocassion I take one of my girls in and he really appreciates it! He also charges me next to nothing since I'm having to "teach" him! You might also ask if you can "assist" - that way you can learn and do it yourself next time!
