Yesterday I had one chicken with half of her face swollen (mainly her cheek, and her eye is half shut) because I think that another older hen pecked her, but I'm not so sure. Today I have another hen that's a little bit smaller with her eye swollen shut and her cheek swollen too. I'm pretty sure that it's just because they're new (I got them a few days ago) but I'm not 100% sure. Please help, and I will accept any suggestions. I have put some Neosporin on it and I tried to bandage it because the second one keeps scratching it but I had no luck, so if anyone has any ideas for bandaging a chicken eye, I would like advice on that. I also bought some Theracyn wound and skin care for poultry but I'm not sure if that will help. The second hen is the spotted one and the first is the red one. One last thing, I think they have like diarrhea or something but theres no blood in it, it just smells bad and looks weird. I have already operated them and the first one is doing better but he second isn't. Also, there is some fluid coming from her nose and some of the hens outside are sounding kind of raspy so I think they're starting to get a little sick because we had a cold front come into Florida, and it got a lot colder than usual. I think all these hens have is a mix of a swollen eye because it was pecked and a cold because of the weather. If anyone has any suggestions for what to do for these hens or the hens outside that should a little raspy please let me know. I also already gave them a mix of aspirin, lemon, and water; which is said to cure their colds but I'm not sure just please anyone get back to me.

I know tractor supply and poultry stores sell special eye drops. Clean hear eyes with a warm cloth everyday and do what the eydrop package says. Mg friend rescued a hen with this and she can actually open her eye now. I think it is contagious so be careful with tour flock. Best of luck keep us updated!

Electrolight water can also help them boost energy I use 1/8 tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp salt 2 tsp sugar 2 cups warm water
Thank you so much, I will try that. But, I'm still not so sure it's Infectious Coryza. I think its just a mix of the cold weather and the fact that her eyelid got pecked (I assume).
