Info on LaGrange, TX Poultry Show 3/7/09??--- We are 1st timers

Just another reminder about this show. There are a lot of people that would go to this show because it is the only one in their area.

I think the deadline is February 27th but it would be nice to just go to the show and look around. You can help support the show just by eating lunch there and getting in on the raffle.

They are also allowing sale birds this year if you have your TAHC license. I don't expect a lot of sale birds there but should be some.

i was hoping to have something to show, but they escaped from their pens earlier this month and still haven't gotten to looking right.

we'll be there thought to contribute to the lunch and the raffle.

Greetings all...
Lucky for me Im only about 30 mins away from La Grange (in New Ulm).. and what Im looking for are some standard cochin hens/pullets, frizzles bantam or standard hen/pullets and anything exotic.
If any of you are attending this show and are bringing something like this, please let me know, or know of anyone that breeds these types, please contact me.
We are looking to put together a variety of around 25 hens/pullets to have around the farm for eggs and pets. They do not have to be show quality as they are not going to be used for such.
I bought some BEAUTIFUL White Crested Blue polish pullets from chickens112 whom I met on this forum and they fit the bill perfectly.

Hope to see LOTS of exhibits in La Grange!!!

Robert

Good Luck to all that are showing!!!! will be there with some first timers!! Looking forward to seeing some beautiful exhibits along with the great weather...
