Info on Welsummers, Wyandotte’s, and New Hampshire’s

So right now I have a 70% hatch rate if you include the eggs that I took out before lockdown. :)
That’s a really good hatch rate! Congrats! 🍾🎊 That’s great for you!

I do love my Wyandotte but she’s very much a look don’t touch chicken. She will visit me but will leave the minute I try to pet her. She’s a beautiful bird though, and has always been good with the bantams. She’s a bit of a bossy butt with the standard pullets. My Welsummer is a very gentle chicken and leader of the banty Cochins, and will visit me some but rather enjoys foraging and mother henning the Cochins :)

I’m getting a Welsummer hen and some Bielefelder/Welsummer crosses in the spring. I can’t wait to see what they look like.
How did your Bielefelder/Welsummer crosses turn out? I have 2 Bielefelder Roos and a few Welsummer hens I was planning to breed very soon. Happened to see this post while checking out the subject. I know it’s a couple years old but I’m curious. Thanks
